Housoft Face Crackeado When the world's most popular technology company decided to use facial recognition software for all its customers, there was one group of people it didn't bother to ask: the customers. And so, some people tried to get themself out of this trap. Some small groups had already rallied together in the years before to try and figure out ways around this new technology. It took some time but eventually more and more people joined in on these early movements. Now, people from all over the world meet every year for a gathering called the "Housoft Face Crackeado". The first time was in 2012, and since then it has been held annually. In all years there were several activities around this gathering including several radio broadcasts as well as blogs that included reflections on the events of the previous days. In general there were not that many people present, but an open discussion has been going on for years now. The founder of Housoft Face Crackeado is Mætinu Vestkaptenene. He has a website where a lot of information about his movement can be found: http://housoftfacecrakeado.blogspot. com/In 2013 it was decided that the 'face crackeado' was a lot of fun, and so they decided to make a movie about it with the name "Crawford Rock". The film is in german and in this language pictures from the HFC can be found. Also in 2013 a documentary about the HFC called "Building a movement" was made. This film shows interviews with people from all over Europe, where they talk about their involvement in the movement. In 2014, when there were no events planned for 2015, people from different parts of Europe have started to express their interest in Housoft Face Crackeado 2015. As of now there are no concrete plans, but people are working towards that goal. More information will be announced soon on this wiki. People have asked themselves the question what is so special about being being able to see one's own face? "We have already seen ourselves in the mirror every day since we were born", is one of the most common answers. This may be true, but the fact that this is the only way that we are able to see our own face, can make it very special. There are many different ways to deal with facial recognition software. The Housoft Face Crackeado chose here to use a punsical approach, i.e. the results of the software are not taken too seriously because they are "cracked".The HFC have also announced officially officially Kaptenene's plans for 2015 , where plans for an event in Shanghai are mentioned. Also in 2014 there was news about Japan being assailed by the technology called 'Locker room'. The HFC Japan-page mentions about this event. cfa1e77820
